Un-Canney V -  Steve Hammann

I could've had a V-8!

 

This build is a tribute to Paul Canney and his love for Funny Bugs hence the name the "Un-Canney V". I started out with a Revell snap-tite VW and then sectioned in the top and added the B pillars from a Revell Tuner VW.  The new B pillars were added behind the snap kit's B pillars for more depth and to reshape the roofline so it would resemble the classic showrod Uncertain T.

I removed the rear seat and slipped in a Dodge V10 from a Jada diecast car to return the VW to it's rear engine heritage. The wheels and tires are from the same diecast which is part of the Bigtime Muscle series. Paint is Dupli-Color Metal Specks Orange with an overcoat of Model Master Clear Pearl.
