Here's the info on the attached pics of my type II VW pickup, built from the Hasegawa kit:

Colors are HOK Pearls,  Ultra Orange and Tangelo. The wheel tubs were modified in order to dramatically lower the overall stance. The drop-down bedsides were replaced with strips of scale wooden ship planks made up to transfer the pickup into a stake bed. Tires and wheels are from the AMT Copperhead and a roll bar mounted to the front of the bed was formed from silver solder and polished to a
 shine. Holes were drilled in the rear bumper for new dual exhausts and the surfer and tuner decals added for that "Cal" touch!
