Li'l ESSO - BiLL TheMadModeler

Outta Gas?  Here comes Li'l ESSO!Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I just love show rods! I've set a goal to build as many box stock

show rods as I can for my "Bitchin' Collection" of models.

Here's my first time building the Li`l Gasser and I

finished it today the last day for contest entries.

I painted it Tropic Blue and used the silver outline

decals on the cab. The interior is painted black.

I used a steering wheel from the parts box and the

stick shift is turned around. I used a resin windshield frame

painted silver that John V. gave me. I added Garbage truck

side view mirrors and air horns to the roof.

The tank is painted silver, its base black. I used the ESSO  Decal for its colors and it gives me the cool name.

I used Blue window tint film (Thanks Ira.) on the

name shield/side rails then used the Nitro methane decals.

I added a chrome hose holder and fire extinguisher

to the base. The control handles are colored with a sharpie.

The taillights are replaced with these long thin ones mounted under the base and the "Truckin'" license plate says it all.   At the last minute I decided to use these front wheels and had to modify the axle and radius rods to fit.
