California Chili Chopper - BiLL TheMadModeler

Here's my slightly modified box stock Tee Trike.

These kits are SO cool and the decal choices make

for a wide range of ideas. As you can see I used

the California Chili Chopper set from the Mailbox kit.

I knew I had to paint it green. After what seemed like months, I found this Odds and Ends spray can of Garden Green.  I think it's the perfect color.  I made a black vinyl roof  from masking tape.  Don't you think it goes great on this long thin roof?

The interior is gloss and flat black. I added the clear hand grip stick shift, and raised the dash board and added chrome tape to the back so it wasn't hidden behind the pedals and also squared off the windshield at the top.  I wanted to open the rear but stuck with the kit's hour glass window. I used the chili pepper taillights and picante licenseImage hosted by Photobucket.com
plate.

I didn't like the way the big slicks sat so far out on this.

They look good in the box art sitting under the body

flares so I extended the axle mounts and moved

the axle back a bit. I then had to extend the tranny's

tail end too. I added axle support rods, changed

the mags to an SST type, and of course

who can miss those landing gear wheelie bars.

I figure with that big v8 motor you'd be riding

wheelies all the time.
